You must have complete confidence in your brakes when you push on the brake pedal. If not, you will never be competitive coming into the corners. The firewall brace EPS supplies assures a very positive pedal by totally stopping firewall pivot and forward movement under braking.

But our master cylinder, though still providing a firm pedal, provides enough movement to allow complete modulation of the pedal for maximum controlled, safe, effective braking into the corner.
The combination of our master cylinder and firewall brace offer the ultimate braking. The master cylinder material and outward facing lines as in original Fords, assure problem free braking in intense heat.
An installation feature for the do-it-yourselfer is that the firewall brace can be installed without drilling any holes and without opening the brake system.

The secure firm pedal feels like 4-wheel disc brakes, but with rear drums and good pedal modulation. Notice that our lines face to the outside away from over the exhaust. Also, we don’t use an aluminum master cylinder for obvious reasons.

The firewall brace can be installed without removing the master cylinder rod. Just loosen the master cylinder from the firewall. It can be installed without drilling any holes. There are also right & left hand heim joints so it is easy to adjust the two rods lengths.
|
|
|
|
