Walt’s dynamometer experience goes back over 50 years
to his years with Ford Motor Company.

Walt started racing & winning in 1961. In late 1965, he got the use of Shelby GT350 R103. In November 1966; he drove it to the Sports Car Club of America National Championship at Riverside, California over such heavy weights as Mark Donohue, below left.
He is still racing and winning. In 2007, he and son, Chip Hane, co-drove Walt’s original 1965 K Mustang to an overall victory against space-age and sports-racer cars at the RMVR Enduro in Pueblo Colorado, below right. Walt was only 79 years old then!

RMVR TransAm Invitational Race
June 2-3, 2012 ~ Pueblo, Colorado
2012 is our 51st year of building and racing winning sports & formula cars.
That trend continued recently in a big way. All 4 of our EPS Team cars entered at Pueblo proved to be “up front” cars.

Walt drove the Coupe in two sessions. It was a lot of fun for the ol’ 84 year old that hadn’t raced in three years! Using oxygen helped him achieve "peak" performance.
|
|
|
|

|
Chip won the TransAm sedan race in the Coupe.
|
|

Keith won the Vintage class at the Pikes Peak hill climb and also beat the best time of the Vintage Modified class using his EPS-built engine.
